Paying for Lessons
Lessons may be booked on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on your preference.
All lessons are paid for in advance. This guarantees the selected time slot is reserved and ensures that I am fairly compensated for my time. All payments must be made by the first lesson of the month.
You will only pay for the lessons you will be taking in a particular month. There is not a fixed monthly cost. For example, if you are taking lessons on Wednesdays, you will most likely have to pay for 4 lessons in a particular month since there are typically 4 Wednesdays each month. In the instance that a particular month has five Wednesdays, you will then need to pay for five lessons that month.
PRIVATE BEGINNING LESSONS: are $12.50 per 1/2-hour weekly lesson, which usually equals $50 per month.
PRIVATE INTERMEDIATE LESSONS: are $18.75 per 3/4-hour weekly lesson, which usually equals $75 / month.
STRING ORCHESTRA INSTRUCTION: The group rate for 6-10 students is $20 per month for a 45-minute weekly lesson.
GROUP GUITAR INSTRUCTION: The group rate for 6-10 students is $20 per month for a 45-minute weekly lesson.
PARENT & TOT PROGRAM: for ages 3-5 is $20 per month.
Rescheduling or Changing Lessons My policy is that the student must give me at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a lesson. Changes made with less than 24 hours notice may result in the student losing that lesson. To make more permanent changes to your lessons, such as changing day/time, or lesson duration, please talk to me. Please note that these changes require at least 48 hours notice and sometimes affect the cost of lessons (e.g. longer lessons cost more).
